摘要 <p>The present invention relates to a method and device to clamp and unclamp a structure by using a servo motor. The device includes a servo motor connected to a drawbar to operate a chuck by moving the drawbar forward and backward; an encoder part detecting a position of the servo motor; a drive part controlling the position of the servo motor by controlling a current flowing through the motor; a brake part fixing or releasing a shaft of the servo motor; a thrust maintaining part maintaining the thrust of the servo motor; and a control part receiving a thrust value and a position value, detecting the position of the servo motor by using the encoder part, controlling to place the servo motor in the inputted position value through the drive part, and fixing the shaft of the servo motor through the brake part when a load value of the servo motor, received from the drive part, reaches the inputted thrust value.</p>
