<p>The present invention relates to a system and a method to determine an optimal departure time. The system includes an input part receiving a departure point, a stop, a destination, and a use period of traffic history data; a data processing part generating processed data by classifying the traffic history data in the use period by time and space; a large scale path generating part generating a large scale path by designating a stopping order of the stop between the departure point and the destination based on distance data on the processed data; a small scale path generating part generating a small scale path between the departure point, the stop, and the destination according to the stopping order by using the processed data; and a departure time determining part generating an optimal path by connecting the large scale path and the small scale path with each other, and determining a departure path having the smallest entire consumption time of the optimal path. The departure time determining part includes a first determining part calculating a guarantee time of the first small scale path by extracting a candidate departure time of the small scale path by using the processed data; and a second determining part determining an optimal departure time having the entire consumption time as the smallest within the guarantee time.</p> |
