<p>An induction device to be used in association with a high voltage electric transmission systems having at least one winding, at least one core frame, and at least one magnetic core leg arranged in the core frame. The core frame includes a plurality of core gaps including a plurality of spacers, and a plurality of core segments of a magnetic material. The core segments are being separated by at least one of the core gaps, and the winding is causing electromagnetic attraction forces to act in the core gaps. The induction device further includes at least one piezoelectric element arranged in one of the core gaps, and a control unit connected to the piezoelectric element. The control unit is arranged to provide an electrical signal for inducing vibrations of the piezoelectric element which counteract the electromagnetic attraction forces acting in the core gaps.</p> |
