PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for performing analysis (characteristic evaluation, attribute discrimination or the like) of a mixture sample by using information which cannot be utilized hitherto and/or which has been not utilized, concerning a mixture sample (especially, a complicated and heterogeneous mixture sample). ! SOLUTION: A method for expressing characteristics of a mixture sample includes following actions: acquisition of an electromagnetic wave signal derived from the mixture sample; generation of audible region data or visible region data from the electromagnetic wave signal; and conversion of the audible region data or the visible region data into a sound or a color, followed by expression of the characteristics of the mixture sample by the converted sound or color. !
