PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery which reduces a variation in battery resistance.SOLUTION: The battery includes, as a separator, a first separator and a second separator of which the characteristics are different from each other, and the first separator and the second separator are disposed within an electrode body without being in contact with each other in a lamination direction of the electrode body. The first separator and the second separator have the following characteristics. Namely, in the case where the battery including the electrode body formed by laminating a cathode, the first separator and an anode is constructed, a resistance increase rate X=&Dgr;X/&Dgr;P calculated from a variation &Dgr;P of surface pressure applied in the lamination direction of the electrode body and a resistance increase amount &Dgr;X of the battery in the case of adding the surface pressure variation &Dgr;P is X>0 (positive value) and in the case where the battery including the electrode body formed by laminating the cathode, the second separator and the anode is constructed, a resistance increase rate Y=&Dgr;Y/&Dgr;P calculated from the variation &Dgr;P of the surface pressure applied in the lamination direction of the electrode body and a resistance increase amount &Dgr;Y in the case of adding the surface pressure variation &Dgr;P is Y<0 (negative value). |
