PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paste transfer apparatus capable of preventing paste from overflowing outside of a transfer stage, and an electronic component mounting machine.SOLUTION: The paste transfer apparatus includes: a film deposition squeegee 37 which spreads paste and forms a paste coating over a transfer stage 24 by horizontally moving along a first direction that is parallel with a length direction of a sidewall 31A, relatively to the transfer stage 24; and a scraper which scrapes the paste on a base 30 by horizontally moving in the first direction relatively to the transfer stage 24. In at least either the film deposition squeegee 37 or the scraper, a notched part 40 is provided at a position opposing the sidewall 31A. Partial paste P creeping upward from the film deposition squeegee 37 (or the scraper) closer to an end portion 37a during a film deposition operation is dammed by the notched part 40, such that the paste is prevented from overflowing out of the transfer stage 24. |
