PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drip-proof structure for a rotary electronic component capable of achieving effective drip-proof, and reducing the number of components to reduce a cost of manufacture.SOLUTION: An upper part of a knob operation surface 105 of a rotary knob 100 is exposed from an opening 251 provided on a case 250 of a rotary electronic component 1. The rotary knob 100 is provided with a liquid guide part 125 (inclined planes 127 and 129) that guides liquid infiltrated from the opening 251 of the case 250 downstream to a direction separating from a circuit board 150, as shown by arrows A1-A4.
