<p>The rotary swather has at least two gyratory swathers which in the work position are supported on the ground on rollers. Each swather (19, 20) has a gear holding arm (29, 30) rigidly coupled to the swather head, extending at the side down into the area underneath the drive frame (3) and moving along with the movements of the swather. The gear holding arm has an inner drive shaft (33, 34) and angular gears (31, 32) at the free end whereby articulated shafts (35, 36, 38) are provided between the two angular gears and can be adjusted in length from the front angular gear to the drive shaft of the tractor towing the machine. The inner drive shaft is of rigid length.</p> |
