Described is a method for estimating densities through the obtention of a point cloud resulting from an optical device, which uses an information processor for estimating the difference of heights or depths of the cloud points with regard to a predetermined height or depth and based on this estimation an instruction is provided. This method is performed by means of a system comprising: an optical device for acquiring the point clouds; a means for supporting the optical device; and an information processor for receiving the information from the optical device.
