PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a steep current waveform capable of suppressing harmonics, by reducing the information storage amount.SOLUTION: A controller extracts the reactive components and active components from each phase current of a load current and each phase current of an active filter current, adds the extracted reactive components and active components, respectively, and brings the addition values of the active components and reactive components close to desired values, respectively. Main circuit of a three-phase active filter is operated based on the output results of the controller. The controller includes a repeat controller having a storage delay of 1/6 period of AC power supply period. When a three-phase power system, through which a current distorted by the load is flowing, is represented by the effective component and reactive component, harmonic distortion of integer multiples of sixth order accounts for the majority, and thereby with a little storage capacity, high performance harmonic removal is ensured without causing storage delay of power supply one period. |
