<p>In a step of continuously unwinding and supplying a web, the tension of the web is detected on the basis of the displacement of a dancer roller, and the feed rate of the web is manipulated according to the detection result to adjust the tension of the web. Further, the tension of the web fed from the dancer roller is detected at a position upstream of an accumulator by a tension detector, and according to the feed rate of the web calculated from the displacement of the dancer roller and the detection result detected at the position upstream of the accumulator, the rates of take-up and feeding of the web by the accumulator are manipulated so that the web is intermittently fed to a processing process while the tension is adjusted to a target value. The web is processed while being nipped by nip rollers downstream of the processing process, and, after the completion of the processing, a driving roller among the nip rollers is actuated so as to send the web to a winder. The web is wound in synchronization with feeding of the web.</p> |
