<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrial vehicle having a side cover which can be opened wide so as not to bring the lower part thereof into contact with a tire, and enabling maintenance without interfering with accessing an engine room with the side cover opened. <P>SOLUTION: An industrial vehicle comprises: a side cover 11 including a side cover body 12 and a lower side cover 13 having an upper portion supported by a horizontal revolving shaft in a lower part of the side cover body 12; and an engine room 5 which supports a front part of the side cover body 1 with a vertical revolving shaft. The side cover body 12 has, on its inner surface, a guide mechanism part 20 for guiding a guide rod 21 extending from the engine room 5 to the inner surface of the side cover body 12. The guide mechanism part 20 has a guide groove 22 for guiding the guide rod 21 toward a vertical turning shaft V along with opening of the side cover body 12. The guide rod 21 has a wire rope 30 disposed along the inner surface of the side cover body 12, for turning the lower portion of the lower side cover 13 upward along with the guide rod 21 moving toward the vertical turning shaft. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
