<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network attached storage which can efficiently cool the whole case by using cooling means for cooling storage media. <P>SOLUTION: A network attached storage 1 comprises: storage media 2; cooling means 5 for cooling the storage media 2; an electronic board 4 on which a control component 41 is mounted; a metal plate 3 disposed to abut on the side face of the storage media 2; and a case 7 for housing the above-listed items.
