<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED lighting device in which the reduction of circuit conversion efficiency is suppressed even when the number of LED connections changes. <P>SOLUTION: An LED module 200 is detachably connected to an LED lighting device 110. A lighting circuit 2 converts the magnitude of DC voltage inputted thereto and applies the DC voltage after magnitude conversion to a plurality of LED elements in the LED module 200 to turn them on. Rectified DC voltage is inputted from a rectifier circuit 60 to a power factor improvement circuit 70, which in turn converts the magnitude of the DC voltage and outputs the DC voltage after magnitude conversion to the lighting circuit 2. A connection number determination circuit 3 determines the number of LEDs in the LED module 200. In accordance with the number of LEDs determined by the connection number determination circuit 3, an output setting unit 4-1 controls the magnitude of the DC voltage outputted to the lighting circuit 2 by the power factor improvement circuit 70. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
