<p>A damping insert for damping devices on furniture comprises a fluid-filled damping cylinder (18), in which a damping piston is guided in a longitudinally displaceable manner. The damping piston is connected to an adjusting screw (14) by way of a piston rod (13). The damping cylinder (9) is guided in a guide sleeve (8) in a longitudinally displaceable and rotatable manner. The adjusting screw (14) is engaged with an inside thread (16) of the guide sleeve (8). The adjusting screw (14) is connected to the damping cylinder (9) in a rotationally fixed and longitudinally displaceable manner. The adjusting screw (14) is coaxially connected to a rotating sleeve (17), in which an inner end (18) of the damping cylinder (9) is received in a longitudinally displaceable manner.
