<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal member and a waterproof connector for securing predetermined waterproofness. <P>SOLUTION: A seal member 60 has a seal hole 64 into which electric wire 90 connected to a terminal metal fitting 30 is inserted after the terminal metal fitting 30 passes. On the inner peripheral surface of the seal hole 64 of the seal member 60, mesh-like lips 65 which closely contact the outer peripheral surface of the electric wire 90 are formed, and many cells 69 are sectioned by the lips 65. The lips 65 consist of: a plurality of first lips 66 in parallel with one another which diagonally extend to an insertion direction A of the electric wire 90; and a plurality of second lips 67 in parallel with one another which diagonally extend to the insertion direction A of the electric wire 90 while crossing the first lips 66. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
