The present invention relates to an alarm apparatus for heavy snow, and more specifically, to an alarm apparatus for heavy snow, which provides an alarm signal as heavy snow of more than an allowable load or the allowable amount of snow is accumulated on the roof of an architectural structure, a green house, or other structure, thereby preventing a disaster. According to the present invention, it is sensed that the amount of snow on the roof exceeds an allowable load through a snow measuring plate and a load gauge, each of which have a predetermined area, so that an alarm signal is provided through an alarm generating part. Therefore, a large scale accident, such as the collapse of a building, which is caused by heavy snow, may be prevented through rapid evacuation or snow-removing work.
