ECO-FRIENDLY PAINT COMPOSITION HAVING HIGH WATER-RESISTANT AND HIGH ADHESIVE STRENGTH USING SEAWEEDS AND PAINTING METHODS USING THEREOF

Provided is an eco-friendly paint composition comprising: 2-40 wt% of seaweeds; 15-35 wt% of acryl copolymer; 10-30 wt% of methyl methacrylate resin; 5-15 wt% of binding agent; 20-40 wt% of layered silicate selected from a group comprising bentonite, hectorite, saponite, and montmorillonite; 15-30 wt% of silica fine particles; 5-15 wt% of solvent; and 2-8 wt% of hardening agent. The eco-friendly paint composition using seaweeds according to the present invention forms a physically and chemically stable paint membrane on a target surface without discharging harmful substances, and in addition, the present invention can improve decay resistance, providing high water resistance and high adhesive strength.
