The present invention relates to an airtight container with a steam cooking function. More specifically, The present invention relates to a method for heating food contained in the airtight container by injecting steam in a common airtight container. A steam injection hole and an excessive steam discharging hole are formed on one side of a cover or a body of a common airtight container. Stoppers are arranged on the steam injection hole and the excessive steam discharging hole. When the steam injection hole and the excessive steam discharging hole are closed by the stoppers, the airtight container executes a function of an airtight container. When the steam injection hole and the excessive steam discharging hole are opened, a soft steam nozzle is joined to be easily seal the steam injection hole and injects steam so that steam cooking can be performed by using a heat source of steam. Moreover, a separation plate, which is placed apart from the bottom and includes a plurality of through-holes, is arranged in the airtight container. Therefore, condensed water, gathering on the bottom, is prevented from flowing over to food to be cooked. The present invention comprises: a steam generating and supplying device which generates and supplies steam; and the airtight container having a steamer function of receiving steam from the steam generating and supplying device and then cooking the food contained therein. The airtight container comprises: a first containing unit which contains food therein; a second containing unit which is formed to communicate with a lower portion of the first containing unit and receives steam from the steam generating and supplying device; and a cover which is arranged on an upper portion of the first containing unit and receives team from the steam generating and supplying device. |
