PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arithmetic unit capable of precisely detecting operation status of apparatuses.SOLUTION: The arithmetic unit includes: a feature waveform extraction section that extracts feature waveforms before and after a point when the operation status of apparatuses changes; a calculation section that performs a calculation for breaking down components of the feature waveform into one or more frequency components; an apparatus feature database that stores features of the frequencies each of which represents the operation status of a predetermined apparatus; a harmonic component weighted-distance calculation section that calculates a weighted distance on a polar coordinate between a calculation result and the feature stored in the apparatus feature database; and an operation status estimation section that estimates the operation status of the apparatus on the basis of the weighted distance. |
