(OBJECTIVE) Provided are a sensor device capable of properly controlling a heater based on a result of monitoring the temperature of a sensor device by using a resistance device for monitoring temperature, and a method of controlling temperature in a sensor device. (SOLUTION) In a manganic sensor, in a comparator, a switching device is controlled based on the comparison result of a control target voltage and a temperature detection voltage divided by a voltage-dividing circuit. The conduction of a heating resistance layer (heater) is controlled. Also, a control target voltage setting process which applies a constant voltage to the voltage-dividing circuit is performed before the shipment of a magnetic sensor device. A microcomputer sets a result of calculating a temperature detection voltage when the resistance layer for monitoring temperature reaches predetermined temperature, as a control target voltage, based on the temperature coefficient of the resistance of the resistance layer for monitoring temperature and the resistance of the voltage-dividing resistance, and a temperature detection voltage when the constant voltage is applied to the voltage-dividing circuit, and an environmental temperature when the constant voltage is applied to the voltage-dividing circuit. |
