The present invention relates to an external connection device for connecting an external electronic device to a controller which controls an elevator display. The external connection device according to the present invention includes the controller (C) which is installed in a hoistway (P) of an elevator to control the operation of a display (D) by being connected to the display (D) installed in an elevator door (10) or a cage, and an external connection terminal (T) which is connected to the controller (C) and is installed on a lateral doorframe (10) or a lateral side (12) of the elevator door (10).
