PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily realize management of a plurality of devices connected by various interfaces, and update of software applied to each device.SOLUTION: A management device managing a system which includes a gateway device and a first and second devices comprises: a configuration information acquisition part for acquiring configuration information and connection device specification information of at least one device; a software acquisition part for acquiring software from a server on the basis of software identification information included in the configuration information; a software application control part for applying the software; a display part; and a map display control part for displaying a connection configuration map in the display part, which arranges a symbol of the first device so that it is closer to a symbol of the gateway device than a symbol of the second device, and displays the symbols of each device to match a connection mode so that connection interfaces where each device has are distinguishable.
