PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect a symptom regarding a fault to be even in the case where a constituent device is changed in a system to be monitored.SOLUTION: In a fault symptom notification apparatus, an alert generation part receives a message, relating to constituent devices, outputted from the system to be monitored and detects the presence/absence of a fault alert that is generated with respect to the message on the basis of a plurality of detection conditions which are generated on the basis of a plurality of different characteristics. A performance model generation part associates each of actually incurred faults with the presence/absence of the plurality of fault alerts based on the plurality of detection conditions and compiles a prediction result for each combination of the presence/absence of the plurality of fault alerts. A symptom notification determination part determines the presence/absence of a fault symptom on the basis of the combination of the presence/absence of the plurality of fault alerts detected from the message on the basis of the plurality of detection conditions, and the prediction result. |
