<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mosquito coil for controlling infectious disease-carrying mosquitos which includes metofluthrin, exhibits an outstanding effectiveness for controlling infectious disease-carrying mosquitos such as Aedes aegypti and Culex quinquefasciatus, and is producible at a low cost and highly safe to humans and animals. <P>SOLUTION: The mosquito coil for controlling infectious disease-carrying mosquitos includes 0.005-0.03 mass% metofluthrin [4-methoxymethyl-2,3,5,6-tetrafluorobenzyl 2,2-dimethyl-3-(1-propenyl)-cyclopropane carboxylate] as an effective component and 0.08-0.5 mass% N-(2-ethylhexyl)-bicyclo[2,2,1]-hept-5-ene-2,3-dicarboxyimide as an efficacy enhancer, the content of which is not less than 8 times that of the effective component. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
