<p>The present invention relates to a card reader for a portable terminal, a card payment method using the card reader, and a card payment system using the card reader. According to the present invention, the card payment system using the card reader comprises: a portable terminal; a card reader to transmit credit card data through a USB port by encrypting the credit card data after receiving the credit card data from a credit card; and a credit card payment server to receive the encrypted credit card data from the portable terminal and to execute payment of the credit card by decrypting the encrypted credit card data.</p> |
