摘要 <p>The present invention relates to a method of improving the quality of a depth image causing visual discomfort, based on graphic processor, comprising the steps of: (a) receiving a color image and depth image; (b) converting a color value of the color image into a brightness value; and (c) calculating a first total weight for each of first reference pixels which are spotted on the same point in the color image and the depth image, by using differences in the distance, brightness, and depth between each first reference pixel and an adjacent pixel thereof, and setting a depth value of each first reference pixel with a depth value of the first adjacent pixel that maximizes the first total weight, respectively. Accordingly, noises of a depth image are removed, and a blurring phenomenon on a boundary region that commonly occurs in the conventional invention is reduced, thereby effectively removing noises and holes.</p>
