PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-checkout terminal capable of preventing an article from being exchanged. ! SOLUTION: The self-checkout terminal includes: an account registration part 38 for performing account registration in response to input of an article name by a customer; a weight processing part 44 for processing an article weight measured by a scale 22; an image processing part 42 for processing an article image resulting from imaging the article moved to the scale by the customer; and an account registration determination part 46 which compares the article weight and the article image with the account-registered article and determines the account registration in the case where they are matched. The account registration determination part compares a specific article image resulting from imaging the article at a position proximate to the scale, out of the article images resulting from the imaging, with the account-registered article. !
