Disclosed is a method for manufacturing a positive electrode material for a secondary battery. A method for manufacturing a positive electrode material for a secondary battery according to the present invention comprises the steps of putting distilled water into a reactor, and maintaining temperature range into 50~60 °C; putting a metal solution including a complex ion formation agent into the reactor; putting a deposition agent into the reactor; maintaining a mixed solution inside the reactor into pH 8-10, and stirring; and washing, drying and thermally treating deposition formed inside the reactor.
