The present invention relates to a container of an automated external defibrillator (AED) and a location-based emergency rescue system and, more specifically, to a container of an automated external defibrillator and a location-based emergency rescue system comprising: transmitting situation information of the automated external defibrillator and information on an emergency situation from the container of the automated external defibrillator to a control server through a wireless network; monitoring the situation of the automated external defibrillator and the information on an emergency situation in real time in a control server to enable managers for remote management regarding a plurality of automated external defibrillators installed in public facilities; and performing instructions of accurate emergency treatment for rescuers and immediate emergency call for emergency medical center in an emergency.
