The present invention relates to a roof rack assembly for a vehicle and a method of assembling the same capable of firmly fixing and installing a roof rack on a vehicle by a mounting member without forming an additional opening for installing a mounting unit on the outer surface of the roof rack. The roof rack assembly for a vehicle according to the present invention comprises: a roof rack (110) symmetrically installed on both sides of the outer surface of a vehicle roof (1), provided with a plurality of connection holes (111) formed thereon to correspond to a plurality of mounting holes (3) disposed on the vehicle roof (3), formed in the longitudinal direction of the lower surface thereof, separated from each other, and formed in a hollow shape in the middle thereof; and a mounting unit (120) whose one side is fixed inside the connection holes (111) by rivets and whose the other side is mounted into the mounting holes (3) of the vehicle roof (1). According to the present invention, the roof rack assembly firmly, simply fixes and installs the roof rack on the vehicle by a mounting member without forming an additional opening on the outer surface of the roof rack by applying a fixing method using rivets mounted into the connection holes disposed on the lower surface thereof. |
