PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method which uses a half tone screen allowing a drawing object expressed with a single gray scale to be printed with high image quality. ! SOLUTION: The image processing method decomposes image data into drawing object units and analyzes them (step S2), detects a halftone screen of smooth characteristics from a halftone screen table (step S4), and applies the halftone screen to each drawing object (step S5).
