PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple locking device commonly used for various interior doors and sliding doors capable of easily locking and unlocking the doors. ! SOLUTION: The locking device is constituted mainly of a square bar 1 and a square bar 2. Metal frames 6 and 7 are provided to allow the square bar 1 and the square bar 2 to slide. A thumbscrew 8 is provided to fix the square bar 1 and the square bar 2 at an appropriate position. A groove 3 is formed on the front end of the square bar 2. A hinge 10 is provided between the square bar 1 and a square timber 4. A rubber member 5 is provided to the bottom of the square timber 4. A hook bar 9 is provided to the end of the square bar 2. !
