Disclosed are a push-up number counting method and a user terminal providing the same, capable of counting and providing a push-up number. The push-up number counting method provided by the user terminal includes the steps of: receiving a count request of a push-up number from a user; counting the push-up number using a facial image of a user according to the push-up posture of the user; and displaying the push-up number which is counted.
