<p>The present invention provides a Sortilin crystal and methods for growing said crystal. The invention furthermore provide methods for design of specific ligands based on the crystal structure of Sortilin. The present invention also relates to the preparation and use of such ligands for the preparation of a medicament for the treatment of disease, damage or disorders of the central and peripheral nervous systems.</p>
