Provided is a polylactic acid resin composition comprising a polylactic acid resin, a triaryl phosphate, a plasticizer, a melamine compound, and a surface-treated metal hydroxide, wherein the triaryl phosphate includes one or more of an alkyl aryl group having an alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms, the total mass of the triaryl phosphate and the plasticizer is 16 to 30 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the polylactic acid resin, the content of the surface-treated metal hydroxide with respect to 100 parts by mass of the polylactic acid resin is 10 to 100 parts by mass, and the content of the melamine compound with respect to 100 parts by mass of the polylactic acid resin is 10 to 100 parts by mass. This polylactic acid resin composition can be suitably used as household appliance parts such as cabinets of information appliances. |
