PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding type carriage container which is provided so as to return a gate board to an original position by simple operation from outside, even when engagement of the gate board is released. ! SOLUTION: The folding type carriage container comprises: a bottom plate 2; a mouth frame 1 disposed above the bottom plate 2; and plural side plates configured to stand between the bottom plate 2 and the mouth frame 1. The plural side plates include respectively a gate board 3 coupled to the mouth frame 1 in a state that it oscillates freely. On one end edge of the gate board 3, an engagement part 321 engaged to the bottom plate 2 via a lower frame 21, is provided.
