Provided is a beverage composition for mitigating hangover, comprising: (a) 5-20 wt % of a mixed oriental medicine herb extract including a kudzu root extract based on a total weight of the composition, 30-80 parts by weight of a mugwort leaf extract, 10-50 parts by weight of a pine needle extract, 5-20 parts by weight of a purslane extract, 5-20 parts by weight of an arrowroot flower extract, 5-20 parts by weight of a honeysuckle extract, and 5-20 parts by weight of a licorice extract, based on 100 parts by weight of the kudzu root extract; (b) 5-20 wt % of a sweetener and a seasoning; and (c) a remaining amount of purified water. Compared to existing beverage compositions for mitigating hangover, the beverage composition for mitigating hangover of the present invention has an excellent palatability and a significant effect on mitigating hangover, and can be produced at low costs. |
