PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent toner deposited on an edge of a second opening of an opening/closing part provided in a toner transport device from dropping into an image forming apparatus when a receiving part is removed from an image forming apparatus body.SOLUTION: A toner transport device 86 includes: a transport part 92 formed like a cylinder, in which toner is transported from one end side by its own weight and is dropped from a first opening 96 formed on the other end side to a receiving part 78 for receiving the toner; and an opening/closing part 100 which has a second opening 102 formed therein and is movable in a direction crossing a toner transport direction in the transport part 92 and superposes the second opening 102 over the first opening 96 to open the first opening 96 in response to attachment of the receiving part 78 to a body 10A and closes the first opening 96 in response to removal of the receiving part 78 from the body 10A. The transport part 92 and the second opening 102 have such a relation that at least a part of the transport part 92 protrudes to the inside of the second opening 102, when viewed from below in a state where the receiving part 78 is attached to the body 10A. |
