PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal force support structure capable of being simply and inexpensively constructed and capable of shortening a construction period, and a construction method for the same. ! SOLUTION: A horizontal force support structure 1 during base-isolation repair work for an existing building 2, and a construction method for the same are provided. The horizontal force support structure 1 comprises an earth retaining wall 10 that is formed around the existing building 2, and a support member 11 that is installed between the earth retaining wall 10 and the existing building 2.
