摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a titania nanostructure having low index of refraction and low photocatalytic activity. ! SOLUTION: A zeolite conversion which converts zeolite to other zeolite by a hot water treatment is applied to a laminar titanate. By this, a titania nanostructure with a nanowire shape having multi air-core structure is obtained. HxMyTi2-(x+ny)/4O4, where M is an element selected from a group consisting of alkali metals and alkali earth metals, n is valence therefor and x and y are positive numbers satisfying 0<x+ny<8.
