PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire including a base tread composed of a rubber composition with improved fuel consumption and anti-bursting strength in a well balanced manner. ! SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire includes a base tread composed of a rubber composition which contains a rubber component and a specific silica. In 100 mass% of the rubber component, the content of a conjugated diene polymer having a specific monomer unit is 5 mass% or more in mass 100% of the rubber component.
