The method may further include acquiring, for the at least one file transfer request, a plurality of service level objectives associated with the file. The method may also include distributing a plurality of file segments associated with the file to at least one storage component associated with a shared storage infrastructure, wherein the distributing is based on a determining of at least one resource capability associated with the at least one storage component. Additionally, the method may include directing a complete transfer of the plurality of file segments associated with the file from the at least one storage component based on a file request for the file.
