PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device that regulates the discharge of a developer by using a return screw, and stabilizes the effect of the regulation to reduce a variation in the amount of discharge of the developer, so as to stably discharge the developer.SOLUTION: A return screw 10 conveys a developer in a stirring chamber 15 conveyed by a stirring screw 6 in a direction away from a discharge path 13. The stirring screw 6 and return screw 10 have a rotation shaft 10a therebetween provided with a regulation part 10b. The regulation part 10b is a disk that is connected to the downstream end in the conveyance direction of the return screw 10 and has the outer diameter equal to that of the return screw 10, and forms a regulation surface that continues in the direction of rotation and regulates the developer conveyed by the stirring screw 6 in association with the rotation. |
