A washing machine of the present invention comprises: a casing; and a condition sensing unit sensing inclination of the casing over the certain angle or higher levels of vibration induced in the casing, wherein the condition sensing unit comprises: a switching conductor moving along the inclination or the vibration; a contact electrode; and a guide electrode guiding movement of the switching conductor, and applying an electric current with the contact electrode through the switching conductor if the switching conductor is in contact with the contact electrode.
