<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit an instruction content accurately from a print instruction device side to an image forming apparatus side without placing a load on a storage area of the image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming system includes a print instruction device that instructs image formation on the basis of image formation setting information relating to an image forming condition and job data including image data for every page, and an image forming apparatus that forms images on the basis of the job data; the print instruction device and the image forming apparatus are connected with each other via a communication network.
