Provided are a transparent electrode substrate and a method for manufacturing the same. The transparent electrode substrate comprises a support layer including an engraving pattern, and a transparent conductive pattern filled in the support layer, wherein the transparent conductive pattern is extended in one direction, includes a narrow part and a wide part. The thickness of the transparent conductive pattern on the wide part is higher than the thickness of the transparent conductive pattern on the narrow part.
