摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide novel nanoparticle formulations and methods for producing such nanoparticles and compositions, to enable drug delivery at a therapeutic level to treat diseases with reduced side effects in the patients.SOLUTION: The therapeutic nanoparticles of the invention comprises 3 to 20 weight percent of a vinca alkaloid; and 70 to 97 weight percent of a biocompatible polymer, wherein the biocompatible polymer is selected from the group consisting of: a) diblock poly(lactic)acid-poly(ethylene)glycol copolymer; and b) a combination of a) and poly(lactic) acid homopolymer or polylactic acid-co-glycolic acid, and the diblock poly(lactic)acid-poly(ethylene)glycol copolymer comprises polylactic acid of which number average molecular weight is 15-20 kDa and polyethyleneglycol of which number average molecular weight is 4-6 kDa and the particle diameter of the nanoparticles is 70-140 nm.
