Examples disclose a computing system comprising a computing device with a display surface to detect a selection of functionality from a list of functionalities to be disabled on a calculator. Further, the computing device creates a custom configuration based on the selected functionality. Additionally, the examples also disclose a calculator with a processor to integrate the custom configuration, the custom configuration restricts the selected functionality on the calculator.

1. A computing system comprising:
a computing device including a processor and a display surface, wherein the processor is to: receive input corresponding to a selection of an academic subject; detect a selection of a functionality from a list of functionalities corresponding to the selected academic subject, wherein the selected functionality restricts a calculator from performing the selected functionality during a test mode of the selected academic subject; and create a custom configuration for restricting the selected functionality on the calculator during the test mode, the custom configuration based on the selected academic subject and the selected functionality.
