PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell with which a precise coating film is formed in a gas exhaust side end portion of a porous support substrate with which a gas channel is formed inside, and which is capable of suppressing the situation where a surface of the precise coating film is cracked.SOLUTION: The fuel cell is a sintered body including: a plate-like porous support substrate 10 with which a plurality of gas channels 11 are formed inside in a length direction; and a power generation element part which is provided on a principal surface of the support substrate 10 and with which at least a fuel electrode, a solid electrolyte and an air electrode are laminated in this order. In a gas exhaust side end portion on an inner wall surface of each gas channel 11 and on a gas exhaust side end face of the support substrate 10 in a length direction, a precise coating film of which the porosity is smaller than that of the support substrate 10 is formed. On the precise coating film, further, a porous coating film of which the porosity is larger than that of the precise coating film is formed. |
